The club has a ‘speech ladder’ that begins with the basic foundation of a speech and progresses with greater degrees of difficulty.

There is also an ‘assignment ladder’ that includes tasks such as giving the closing thought, timing, programme leader, being host to a guest, evaluating a speech and being a member of the club board. When you have completed certain of these speeches and tasks you will be awarded a certificate of progress.
